Privacy Policy
This policy has two parts. The first covers the institutional site (localfinance.app); the second, the application (my.localfinance.app). They are different: the app does no tracking at all, while the site uses analytics to measure audience. We would rather make that distinction clear and separate.
What the site measures
To understand how people find our content, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement. The data is aggregated and does not identify you:
- Pages visited
- Where you came from (referrer)
- Approximate country or region (derived from your IP)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
We use this data only to measure audience and improve the site. It is never combined with financial data, since the site has no access to any.
Cookies
The site uses no cookies. Audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless and does not identify you, so there is no consent notice or banner to manage.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare provides the site's delivery and security (CDN) and Web Analytics, a cookieless traffic measurement, under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts is used to display the site's fonts; when loading them, Google may receive your IP address.
What the site does not do
- It uses no cookies and stores no financial data (that is exclusive to the app).
- It does not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
- It does not use browsing data for targeted advertising.
Your rights (LGPD/GDPR)
Since the site uses no cookies and stores no data that identifies you, measurement is anonymous and aggregated, and there is nothing to consent to or manage. For any question or request, contact us at the email at the bottom of this page.

Local Finance was built with privacy as the absolute priority. This policy explains, directly, what we collect and what we don't.
Your financial data is yours alone
All your transactions, categories, wallets, goals and settings are stored exclusively on your device (IndexedDB). No financial data is stored on our servers — under any circumstances. The only exception is the voluntary use of AI import or analysis (Pro), where data passes through our infrastructure only to be forwarded to Google Gemini and is discarded immediately after processing.
What we collect
When you sign in, we store only your email, name and authentication tokens. This information is used exclusively to:
- Manage Pro plan benefits (subscription, credits, devices)
- Connect to Google Drive for automatic backups to your personal folder
Google Drive Backups
Backups are sent directly from your device to your personal Google Drive. The app creates a dedicated folder and only accesses files it creates — it never accesses other files on your Drive.
AI Import & Analysis (Pro)
When using AI import or analysis, your files pass through our infrastructure only to be organized and forwarded to Google Gemini. No data is stored in our database after processing. Whenever we send anything to an AI, we will inform you in advance which of your data will be sent, so you can evaluate and approve it yourself.
Zero tracking
Local Finance contains no Google Analytics, GA4, tracking pixels or any tool that monitors your behavior. We don't know which screens you visit, which buttons you click or how you use the app.
